In botanical and agricultural industries, humidifiers are used to create a climate where certain kinds of plants are most likely to flourish and grow at a more rapid rate, with less likelihood of the plant not surviving than if kept in a fluctuating environment and simply watered now and then. Complex systems which can detect humidity at ground level, where seedlings are sprouting, and adjust humidity according to presets, can be obtained for agricultural and botanical applications.
