Dry Fog is a humidifier technology which is fairly recent, and makes use of advances in frequency technology made in the 1970s. Dry Fog systems are capable of producing an incredibly fine mist, with water droplets of microns being produced, so that humidity can be raised as high as 99% without any wetting being caused. This is useful in factory environments where humidity can be useful in dust suppression, but must not cause wetting as this may lead to the formation of rust and/or mold.
