Dew point is the temperature at which air becomes fully saturated and water vapor begins to condense on surfaces. The closer your air temperature sits to the dew point, the higher your condensation risk. That gap — the dew point spread — is the single most useful number for predicting surface moisture in a facility.
This calculator uses the Magnus-Tetens approximation, the standard formula in meteorology and HVAC engineering, accurate to within ±0.4°C across the normal operating range of 0–60°C and 1–100% relative humidity.
