When the silica level in their water supply ran too high, an environmentally-controlled laboratory called on Smart Fog® to help them find the right solution. Our client had a barrel room with a size of 200 square feet, and they needed to maintain a consistent temperature range of 72-75 degrees Fahrenheit with a relative humidity rating of anywhere between 20-80%. With a great deal of experience with assignments such as this, we set about meeting our client’s expectations quickly and accurately.

 

Our solution to our client’s dilemma was our premium ES100-1 humidification system, capable of humidifying 1,000 square feet up to 99% in any condition. The ES100-1 humidification system includes a veritable arsenal of standard features, including a CPLC control, an ES100PB1, an S1 relative humidity sensor, a ZeroTDS 200 water filter system, and a pipe and fittings kit. The CPLC controller also comes with a standard program that features an optional air pressure sensor.

The PLC control itself is top-of-the-line, coming with 4 analog inputs, 7 transistor outputs, 2 lines x 16 characters, STN LCD, LED backlighting, HMI displays, and a 24 VDC power supply. The S1 sensor features a relative humidity range sensitively of 0 to 100%, a temperature range sensitivity of -40 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, an accuracy RH of +/- 1%, and response time of 15 seconds or less to any atmospheric change.

 

Able to produce up to 24 lb/hr of water and work in a temperatures of 50 degrees Fahrenheit and beyond, our ES100-1 humidification system offered a perfect means of maintaining the proper environmental conditions within the lab, providing our customer with a low-maintenance resolution to their humidification problems.
