Custom Design of a Humidifier System for a Environment Controlled Laboratory
When the silica level in their water supply ran too high, an environmentally-controlled laboratory called on Smart Fog®. Needing help to find the right solution, Smart Fog embraced the challenge. Our client has a barrel room that is 200 square feet. They maintaina consistent temperature range of 72-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, they must maintain a relative humidity rating between 20-80%. So, with a great deal of experience, we set about meeting our client’s expectations quickly and accurately.
The Solution
First, our solution to the client’s dilemma is our premium ES100-1 humidification system. It is capable of humidifying 1,000 square feet up to 99% in any condition. Furthermore, the ES100-1 humidification system includes a veritable arsenal of standard features. These include a CPLC control, an ES100PB1, and an S1 relative humidity sensor. Also, it includes a ZeroTDS 200 water filter system, as well as, a pipe and fittings kit. The CPLC controller comes with a standard program that features an optional air pressure sensor.
Second, the PLC control is top-of-the-line. It comes with 4 analog inputs, 7 transistor outputs, and 2 lines x 16 characters. It also includes STN LCD, LED backlighting, HMI displays, as well as, a 24 VDC power supply. The S1 sensor features a relative humidity range sensitivity of 0 to 100%. Furthermore, it has a temperature range sensitivity of -40 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. This is an accuracy of RH of +/- 1% with a response time of 15 seconds or less to any atmospheric change.
Lastly, the ES100-1 humidification system is able to produce up to 24 lb/hr of water and work in a temperatures of 50 degrees Fahrenheit and beyond. Therefore, it offeres a perfect means of maintaining the proper environmental conditions within the lab. Mainly, providing our customer with a low-maintenance resolution to their humidification problems.
