Dry Fog is the name given to a humidifier technology which is based on technological innovations involving frequencies which occurred in the 1970s. This technology obtains its name from the fact that water droplets released by Dry Fog machines measure as little as 4.2 microns, and this means that the spray released by a Dry Fog humidifier is so fine it virtually feels dry. This, however, is not the case, as a Dry Fog machine is capable of elevating humidity levels well into the 90% range.
