The Right Conditions for a Wine Cellar
Setting up a wine cellar requires a bit of consideration. Your first concern is the temperature. Most people have their cellars underground so that the temperature will remain steady. You do want to keep it cool but keeping it consistent is important as well. In addition to considering the temperature, you'll also need to keep an eye on the humidity levels. Too dry of an environment is not advantageous to the wine but too much humidity can be a problem as well. The key is to closely monitor your cellars conditions.
