Problems Ultrasonic Humidifier Systems

Advances in ultrasonic technology made in the 1970s have led to the development of humidifier systems which are more efficient than ever and are capable of creating humid environments where water droplet size is sufficiently small for there to be no wetting. This aspect is important, as in many applications where industrial humidifiers are used, problems associated with wetting, such as the growth of mold, are undesirable in the extreme. These systems are more efficient than older technology in a number of ways.
